Description

The windscreen for the VAR 2 stove, through its design, provides highly effective protection of the flame against gusts of wind. It also has a significant reflective effect, meaning that all the heat from the combustion gases is reflected under the cooking vessel, thereby reducing cooking time by about 25%, as well as gas consumption. By using the windscreen, the camping stove becomes an effective weapon even in the highest mountains! The windscreen is fully compatible with the VAR mess tin, thus taking up practically no space. A great advantage is also the very easy "assembly and disassembly" of the windscreen, which preserves the compactness of the stove itself. The windscreen can also be used as a stabilizing base for the cartridge-stove system.

Procedure for attaching the gas canister: turn the eccentric so that the canister can be inserted into both indentations, then secure the canister by rotating the eccentric. A reliable result can only be achieved with VAR G230 and VAR G 430 gas canisters.
