Description

NESTO is a down quilt for effective insulation of a hammock from the outside. Hammocks are an increasingly popular solution for sleeping outdoors. However, even in this case, it is necessary to think about insulation from below, because a compressed sleeping bag at the bottom of the lounger insulates minimally. The solution is either a sleeping pad in the hammock or our new product, the NESTO underquilt. It is essentially a down quilt with elastic cords suspended under the hammock so that it fits snugly against it. The down in the underquilt remains fluffy, thus retaining its excellent insulating properties, i.e., warmth.

The quilt has both longitudinal and transverse drawstrings at the ends to fit the hammock as closely as possible. A down collar has been added at each end for this purpose. At the top, you can fasten the underquilt over the hammock using S-carabiners, or you can attach it to the sides of the hammock using Crocodile clips. This allows you to use the hammock with a mosquito net. Therefore, you only need a lighter sleeping bag or a blanket to cover yourself in the hammock, depending on the ambient temperature. NESTO is rectangular in shape, so you can also use it as a blanket for sleeping in a car or at a cottage.
