KATADYN Micropur forte MF 1T disinfectant is a unique combined preparation for effective drinking water disinfection. It is suitable for any type of family and business trips and recreational stays. It is also often used when traveling to exotic destinations and on professional expeditions. The preparation is particularly indicated when traveling to underdeveloped regions with an undeveloped economy and to countries in the subtropical and tropical zones. MICROPUR Forte uses active chlorine and silver ion technology. Due to its high disinfecting effect, it removes bacteria and viruses from water within 30 minutes and also preserves the disinfected water for up to 6 months. In 120 minutes, it can eliminate highly resistant protozoa such as Lamblia (Giardia Intestinalis). Using MICROPUR is very easy - just drop the appropriate number of mini-tablets into a glass, bottle, canister, or tank with water intended for consumption, let it dissolve, and act for 30 minutes (or two hours). There are no health risks associated with using MICROPUR Forte MF 1T, and water prepared this way can be used for consumption, washing dishes, or personal hygiene. The preparation removes both pathogens, algae, and odor from the water. MICROPUR eliminates the risk of infections from water originating from poorly maintained wells, public water supply networks (hotels and accommodation facilities), or natural water sources such as springs, mountain streams, etc. MICROPUR Forte may leave a slight chlorine taste, so when boiling or directly consuming water, it is advisable to adjust the water's taste with MICROPUR Antichlorine. MICROPUR Forte is also suitable for camping and summer camps in the Czech Republic. The preparation meets all the requirements set by Decree No. 409/2005 Coll. on hygienic requirements for products coming into direct contact with water and the requirements of Act No. 258/2000 Coll. on public health protection. The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic issued permission to introduce Micropur Forte MF 1 T onto the Czech market on June 1, 2009. The package contains 100 tablets in blisters of 25, dosage 1 tablet/1l of treated water.
