DESCRIPTION

The Baul tent gives one the feeling of being in a country house. Its advantages are the spacious, detachable inner bedroom and especially the spacious hallway. Inside you will, of course, be able to move around while standing straight; equally, you can store all your luggage without any problems and even cook inside in bad weather.

The model is constructed using a tunnel structure reinforced with durawrap poles, making pitching quick and easy. Both tent shells and the groundsheet are made of high-quality materials that guarantee weather-resistance, good breathability, and smple comfort. The Baul 4 can accommodate up to four adults. Being so generously proportioned, it is ideal for a family or a group of friends, especially for longer camping trips. It is also suitable, however, for rafting or cycling trips which make use of a support vehicle.

MATERIALS

POLES: Durawrap

Durawrap

Durawrap is in many ways a perfected version of fibreglass, created with the application of a polyester film over a fibreglass pole. This improved material is longer-lasting, but also stronger and more flexible. Its great advantage is that, in the event of breakage, it does not splinter leaving sharp edges which can damage the tent.

OUTER MATERIAL: 185T Polyester, Polyurethan (coating 3,000 mm/cm²)

This is a very lightweight material that is tear resistant. The synthetic polyester fibres increase the product's protection against harsh weather conditions, fading and extensive wetting as they dry very quickly.

Polyurethan coating (3,000 mm/cm²)

The polyurethane coating is a permanent impregnation applied directly to the material at various layers. This special treatment of the fabric prevents the penetration of water. The parameters of the coating determine the water column rating (given in mm/cm²), in other words the ability of the material to resist water pressure.

The strong, breathable yet durable material of the inner mesh mosquito net allows air to circulate better in the tent, ensuring good ventilation.

GROUNDSHEET: Layered Polyethylene

A very strong material used for the groundsheets of large tents in particular. Groundsheets made from this material are abrasion resistant and tend for this reason to be a popular choice for family tents. The material also of course offers the requisite waterproofing.
